East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head, Tafik Yulianto said this sterilization program starts from catching stray cats, the sterilization stages until they are released back at the capture location.
"We start catching the cats on Saturday and sterilizing on Sunday. The cats will be released again at Jatinegara Market on Tuesday," he said, Monday (4/14).

East Jakarta KPKP Animal Husbandry and Health Section Head, Theresia Ellita said the activity is realized thanks to collaboration with Let's Adopt Indonesia clinic and private clinic.
"We deploy 10 personnel and 26 people from the community. According to the monitoring, Jatinegara Market has many stray cats," she said.
Meanwhile, Head of Operations Let's Adopt Indonesia, Carolina Fajar stated her side has conducted mapping a week before catching the cats.
"We captured and sterilized 43 male and 68 female cats," she said.
She continued that the cats to be released tomorrow afternoon while waiting the recovery process.
"Market condition is more conducive in the afternoon," she admitted.
